The Township wishes to advise residents that Durham Street between Scott St and Purdy will be temporarily closed for Wednesday June 17th to facilitate paving work required.
Residents and visitors are asked to respect all signage, barriers, and work zones and to use alternate routes where available.

Municipal elections in Ontario are held every four years on the fourth Monday in October and are governed by the Municipal Elections Act. Municipal elections give residents the opportunity to elect local representatives who make decisions that affect daily life in our community, including roads, recreation, land use planning and community safety.
Participating in local elections helps ensure Council reflects the needs and priorities of the entire community.
The Council of the Cramahe Township is composed of the following members, all elected at large:

3 Councillors
Cramahe Township does not have wards. All members of Council represent the Township as a whole.

Compliance Audit Committee
The Township of Cramahe is proud to partner with the Town of Cobourg and neighbouring Northumberland municipalities to recruit qualified professionals to serve on the Joint Compliance Audit Committee for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections. Committee members play an important role in supporting transparency, accountability, and public confidence in the local election process by reviewing requests for compliance audits related to candidate and registered third party advertiser financial statements. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute professional expertise in support of fair, open, and accountable local governance across our communities.
